The owners of Signature Garden Rooms hired me to create a new bespoke website for their family run business building garden rooms for their customers in the North of England. They wanted a hybrid ecommerce package that showed off their bespoke range of log cabin structures, including individual product pages, but they did not want a full checkout, or payment system. When they contacted me they were using a pre-build template from GoDaddy and it lacked design, style and the need for the exact type of customer enquiry functionality they needed.
I came up with a bespoke website design using some of the new graphics they provided (logo) and some of the new product graphics I produced for them using Adobe Photoshop. As set out in their brief I made sure their new re-brand and design was clean, high-end and established. I used large natural images to help show off their products and quality, and made sure to tie everything together with a consistent colour palette that I created off the back of their new logo design.
I then built there new business website for them using WordPress and the Crocoblock toolkit for building websites with Elementor, my page builder of choice. I created individual pages for each of their 6 Garden Room Products that included content provided by them for each cabin specifications, image gallery and FAQs. At the bottom of each product page I created an enquiry form so an interested customer could send an instant enquiry with their interest and intent of purchase for any product.
Tom is an incredibly talented designer and developer. We contacted him as we needed someone who would work with us and understand our vision for where we wanted to take the business. We thew a lot of work at him including website design, image design – he touched up every single product image for us! and overall website development. Not once did he fail to deliver. We’ve been let down in the past by a lot of people that call themselves ‘website experts’. It’s finally so refreshing to work with someone who genuinely is an expert in what he does.
Finally I made sure to optimise the website for search engines by making sure it was finished with page titles, heading structure, keyword density, outbound and inbound links, meta information and a full checklist of up-to-date ranking factors search engines use to organically rank a website in their listing. I accomplished the SEO work using the Yoast SEO plugin and created both Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts for them. Their website remains at the number 1 spot for their business name and several new keywords they wanted to push for their website relaunch.
